On Practical Strategies of “People-Centered” Ideology in the New Period

目前,我国正处于社会主义建设的新时期,在取得重大发展成果的同时,也面临着新的挑战与困难。新时期“以人民为中心”思想在实践中有众多挑战,包括社会保障制度建设不完善、发展成果分配不均衡、人民整体素质有待提高、民生问题亟待解决、生态环境破坏严重等。针对这些挑战构建“以人民为中心”思想的实践策略,即提升服务水平、完善各项社会保障制度、均衡社会利益分配、加强精神文明与文化建设、大力改善民生。

At present, China is in a new era of socialist construction, facing new challenges and difficulties while achieving major development achievements. In the new era,“people-centered” ideology confronts many challenges in its practice, including the imperfect construction of the social security system, the uneven distribution of development results, the improvement of people’s overall quality, the urgent need to solve the problems in people’s livelihood, and the serious damage to the ecological environment. For addressing these challenges, the practical strategies of building a “people-centered” ideology are suggested: improving the service level, improving various social security systems, making a balance on social interest distribution, strengthening spiritual civilization and cultural construction, and vigorously improving people’s livelihood.
