大学生英语词汇学习的制约因素与解决对策

On Restrictive Factors and Solutions on College Students’ English Vocabulary Learning

英语词汇是英语语言学习的三个组成部分之一,也是建构英语大厦的基石。影响我国大学生英语词汇学习的制约因素包括:过大的心理压力、割裂词汇与语境的联系、学习方法不合理及缺乏英语词汇学习热情。应设计有效提升大学生英语词汇学习效果的对策,即通过读音与构词法建立词汇体系、针对不同的单词灵活选择记忆方法、通过灵活运用巩固词汇、坚持周期性复习及培养英语词汇学习的自信心。

Vocabulary is one of the three components and the cornerstone in English language learning. The factors that affect Chinese college students’ English vocabulary learning include: excessive psychological pressure, the broken connection between vocabulary and context, unreasonable learning methods and lack of enthusiasm for English vocabulary learning. In this regard, the effective strategies should be designed to improve college students’ learning efficiency in English vocabulary, namely, establishing the vocabulary system through pronunciation and word formation, flexibly selecting memory methods for different words, consolidating vocabulary through flexible use, adhering to periodic review and cultivating self-confidence in English vocabulary learning.
