村庄共同体——台湾“联庄”妈祖庙研究

Village Community——Research on Taiwan’s “Lianzhuang” Mazu Temple

在汉人移民拓垦台湾的过程中,通过兴建村庙成为村庄信仰中心。在移垦社会进展到一定阶段时,需要更大范围凝聚人群与稳定社会的力量,因此跨村庄的"联庄"组织应着社会发展的需求而产生。妈祖信仰在台湾是有效凝聚跨祖籍、跨信仰的人群媒介,成为超越村庄的区域联系方式。本文以台湾中南部土库顺天宫妈祖庙为例,说明妈祖信仰如何凝聚跨村庄联庄组织以进行运作,为台湾人民带来生活上的福祉,因此妈祖信仰得以在台湾得到大多数民众长久的爱戴。

In the process of Chinese immigration to Taiwan,the village temple became the center of village belief.When the society develops to a certain stage,it needs a greater strength to unite the people and stabilize the society.Therefore,the "Lianzhuang" organization across villages is created by the needs of social development. The Mazu belief in Taiwan is an effective medium for rallying the cross-aged and cross-faith and becoming a regional contact method that transcends the village.This paper takes the example of the Mazu Temple of the Shuntian Palace in the south-central Taiwan.It shows how Mazu belief unite across the villages to operate and bring welfare to pepole in Taiwan.Therefore,the Mazu faith can be obtained by most people in Taiwan for long time.
