县、市、区在学术研究中统称为县。[1]虽然在实践中三者的管理权限、行为逻辑、工作领域、关注重点颇有不同,但是作为同一个行政层级和治理单元,研究者通常会忽略这些差异性,用相近的分析框架对其进行研究,如县域经济、县级治理等。近年来,学术界对村庄的研究取得了产量巨大且质量很高的学术成果。
