论西藏地名演变规律及原因

On the Law of the Place Name Evolution in Tibet and Its Causes

地名作为人类经济社会发展的必然产物,其发展以城市化为核心动力、空间为主要载体、文字语言为主要表现形式,受到地理环境、社会文化、政治经济等因素的影响。文章在研究西藏藏语地名发展历程的基础上,分析地名的特点,演变规律,稳定性及变异性的矛盾和统一构成了它的发展历史。文章认为其演变具有数量渐增、命名依据发生由简单到复杂的变化、变化速度快慢不一等规律;主要原因有政权的更替、社会环境的变化、经济发展、移民的迁入以及地名雅化简化等。

As a communication tool,place names have been passed down from generation to generation,and maintained their relative stability,but there still has some evolution occurred with the names.The contradiction between stability and changeability constitutes the development history of place names.The historical evolution of the place names in Tibet reflects the laws of increasing in quantity,from simple to complex,the slow change of some place names but the rapid change of others.The reasons for the evolution are the change of regimes and social environment,economic development,immigration,place names refinement and simplification and so on.Understanding the evolution law of place names has important reference value for the standardization of place names and naming some new places.
