城市是人类聚居发展的产物,是现代社会最显著和最先进的集聚居住空间.城市的发展标志着人们的生产生活按照高级的社会组织规律展开,同时城市的发展也带来许多的问题.随着科学技术的发展,城市也在不断蜕变,基础设施、空间布局、产业结构、人口结构、公共服务等都在不断升级和壮大,尤其是在信息和通信技术的支撑下逐渐进入智慧城市发展阶段.智慧城市的发展不仅有利于提高居民的生活水平和城市对外形象,还能够帮助城市管理者更高效地治理城市,为城市居民提供更好的服务.文章对智慧城市的定义和内涵进行介绍,分析了我国城市发展和治理的现状,探索了智慧城市服务城市治理的路径.

city is the product of the development of human group living, and it is the most significant and advanced living space in modern society. The development of the city marks that people’s production and life are carried out in accordance with the rules of advanced social organization, and the development of the city also brings and faces many problems. With the development of science and technology, cities are not only transforming, but also upgrading and expanding infrastructure, spatial layout, industrial structure, population structure, public services, etc., especially under the support of information and communication technology, cities are gradually entering the stage of smart city development. The development of smart city is not only conducive to improving the living standard of residents and the external image of the city, but also help enterprise managers to manage and govern the city more efficiently and provide better services for urban residents. This paper first introduces the definition and connotation of smart city, analyzes the current situation of urban development, governance and management in China, and finally explores the path of smart city service for urban management and governance.
