公共图书馆志愿者服务动机、人格特质与服务时长的关系研究

Research on the relationship between service motivation, personality traits and service duration of public library volunteers

[目的/意义]文章通过调研分析公共图书馆志愿者服务动机、人格特质与服务时长的关系,为提高公共图书馆志愿者服务的主动性、持续性,提供有益的借鉴。[方法/过程]通过问卷调研的方式,运用SPSS19.0分析方法,对公共图书馆志愿者服务动机、人格特质与服务时长的关系进行研究。[结果/结论]公共图书馆志愿者服务动机与服务时长呈正相关关系,不同的服务初始动机的服务时长不同。服务动机对公共图书馆志愿者的服务时长有积极影响。6种服务动机对服务时长的影响不同,文章通过比较6种服务动机的影响差异发现,价值观表达、知识理解、社会交往、自我保护、自我增强对服务时间有正向影响,职业生涯对服务时间有负向影响。具有外倾型、随和型、谨慎型的人格特质的公共图书馆志愿者愿意长期参与志愿服务。文章建议公共图书馆营造良好的志愿服务环境,满足志愿者服务需求,帮助志愿者强化服务动机,更好地适应公共图书馆志愿者的服务工作。公共图书馆应将志愿者服务岗位与人格特质相匹配。

[Purpose/significance] Through investigation and analysis of the relationship between service motivation, personality traits and service duration of public library volunteer services, this paper provides useful methods and references for improving the initiative and sustainability of public library volunteers.[ Methods/processes] Through the questionnaire survey, SPSS 19.0 analysis is used to study the relationship between service motivation, personality traits and service duration of public library volunteer services.[Results/conclusions] The motivation of the public library volunteer service is positively related to the length of service. Different service motivations have different service durations. The motivation of the service has a positive impact on the length of service of public library volunteers. Six kinds of service motives have different effects on the length of service. By comparing the influence differences of the six kinds of the services motives, it is found that value expression, knowledge understanding, social interaction, selfprotection, and self-enhancement have a positive impact on service time. Time has a negative impact. Public library volunteers are extroverted, easy- going, and cautious, and they are more willing to participate in volunteer service for a long time. It is recommended that public libraries should create a good volunteer service environment to meet the needs of volunteer services, help volunteers to strengthen service motivation, and better adapt to the service work of public library volunteers. Public libraries should match volunteer positions with personality traits.
