厚皮甜瓜新品种‘鲁厚甜4号’的选育

Breeding of a new melon cultivar ’Luhoutian No.4’

‘鲁厚甜4号’是以‘10SM22’为母本、‘10AM34’为父本育成的杂交1代厚皮甜瓜新品种。该品种长势较强,春季大棚栽培时全生育期约105 d,果实发育期为42~45 d。果实高圆形,成熟后皮色深黄,单果质量2.25 kg,667 m^2产量2 800 kg以上;果肉外绿内橙,厚约4.3cm,肉质脆甜,可溶性固形物含量15%左右。果皮韧,不落蒂,耐贮运;适合山东及周边地区栽培。2015年通过山东省农作物品种审定委员会审定。

'Luhoutian No.4' is a new melon F1 hybrid, which is bred by crossing '10SM22' as female parent and '10 AM34' as male parent. The variety grows vigorously. The whole growth period in spring is about 105 days and the fruit development period is 42-45 days when cultivated in greenhouse. The fruit is high round shaped with golden yellow skin after ripening. The flesh is orange-green colored with about 4.3 cm in thickness, which tastes crisp and sweet. The single fruit weight is about 2.25 kg and yield is above 2 800 kg·667 m^-2. The center soluble solids content is about 15%. It is highly resistant to storage and transportation. It is suitable to cultivate in facilities in Shandong and similar climates areas.
