改革开放以来,中国特色社会主义取得了伟大的历史性成就,有力彰显出中国特色社会主义的独特优势。中国特色社会主义的独特优势表现为七个方面:坚持中国共产党领导是最大优势,是决定其他方面优势的基础和前提;保证人民当家作主和科学民主决策是政治优势;实现公有制主体基础上的又好又快发展和兼顾效率与公平是经济优势;民族文化与马克思主义相融合使中华文化获得新时代的生命力是文化优势;以人民为主体贯彻群众路线,形成强大的社会动员能力是社会力量优势;不断创新和发展马克思主义并发挥其现实力量是理论优势;强化执政党使命和责任担当,不断推进国家治理体系和治理能力现代化是国家治理优势。

Since the reform and opening up, socialism with Chinese characteristics has attained great historical achievements, which has showed the unique advantage of socialism with Chinese characteristics impressively. The advantage shows itself mainly in seven aspects. Adhering to the leadership of the CPC is the supreme aspect, which is the basis and premise that determine others. Ensuring people as the master, and guaranteeing scientific and democratic process of decision-making constitute the political one. Realizing the sound and fast development on the basis of public ownership as the main body in economy, and giving equal consideration to efficiency and equity are the economic one. The vitality bestowed on Chinese culture in the new era resulting from the integration of national culture into Marxism is the cultural one. Carrying out the mass line with people as the subject to form the powerful ability of social mobilization is that of social power. Innovating and developing Marxism constantly and exerting its practical power is the theoretical one. And reinforcing the Party's mission and responsibility as a ruling party and forming the perfect national governance system and ability are that of national governance.
