摘要
通过对伊利诺伊大学香槟分校工程力学专业课程体系特色介绍与分析,得知伊利诺伊大学工程力学专业在注重专业基础知识构建的同时,通过第二领域课堂加强对学生工程应用能力的培养.专业课程兼具综合性、专业性与开放性,学生选择的自主性得到发挥;理论与实验教学相结合,凸显工程应用特点.
Through the study and analysis work of curriculum on Engineering Mechanics in University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign (UIUC), it is indicated that fundamental knowledge and integrated ability is attached more attention when setting up the courses. Also, by secondary field electives, the engineering-based problem-solving ability of students has been fostered. The technical courses of EM are comprehensive, professional and open to select. Therefore, students have more freedom to choose according to their own interest. Meanwhile, a good balance between theoretical and practical part in every specialized course can be seen, which indicates the applicable and practical feature of engineering major.
