The economic and social transformation brought by the continuous development of emerging science and technology has enhanced the public's cognition and requirements on experience. In this context, as a public space, the museum is faced with the transformation from traditional to modern. The immersive experience of the exhibition was born from this, it has been recognized and welcomed by more and more museums and the public. This paper discusses the application of immersive experience in museum display system from the aspects of application basis, application principle and application classification, to provide some new ideas and ways for the museum to improve the experience of visitors.
