Effects of 6S management on infection control and complications in surgical patients

目的探究6S管理对外科手术患者感染控制及并发症的影响。方法选择2017年3月至2019年3月于本院行外科手术治疗的患者100例作为研究对象,随机分为两组各50例。对照组采用常规护理管理模式,观察组采用6S管理模式干预,比较两组患者术后感染、并发症发生情况及护理满意度。结果干预期间,两组术后栓塞、电解质紊乱发生率比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);观察组术后感染发生率低于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);干预后,观察组患者满意度高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论采用6S管理对外科手术患者实施干预,可有效控制感染,减少并发症发生率。

Objective To investigate the effect of 6 S management on infection control and complications of surgical patients. Methods A total of 100 patients who underwent surgical treatment in our hospital from March 2017 to March 2019 were divided into two groups randomly, with 50 patients in each group. The control group adopted routine nursing management mode, and the observation group adopted 6 S management mode. The incidences of postoperative infection and complications, nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results During the intervention period, there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of postoperative embolization and electrolyte disturbance between the two groups(P>0.05). The incidence of postoperative infection in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). After intervention, the satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion 6 S management can effectively control postoperative infection and reduce complications in surgical patients.
