中美传记电影异同探析——以电影《八大山人》与《渴望生活(梵高传)》为例

Of the Differences of the Chinese and American Biographical Films——A case of the films of Pseudonym of Zhu Da and Lust for Life(Van Gogh)

电影《八大山人》与《渴望生活(梵高传)》是中西电影史上两部富有代表性的艺术家传记电影。两者在选材上有类似之处,但在戏剧冲突的设置及其效果、人物形象的塑造及其丰满程度、艺术手法的选择及其水准等方面却存在一定的区别甚至差距。从中我们不难窥探到中西传记电影的差异。造成这些差异的原因是多方面的,其中既有中西传记电影在价值取向、人学观念的区别等方面的因素,也与中西艺术传统、电影体制等方面的不同有关。国产传记电影需要从转变创作理念、革新"人学"观念、增强创新意识等方面不断提高艺术水准,以缩小中西传记电影之间的差距。

The film pseudonym of Zhu Da and Lust for Life(Van Gogh) are two representative artist biographical films in the history of Chinese and western films.There are some similarities in the selection of materials,but there are some differences or even gaps in the Settings and effects of dramatic conflicts,the shaping and fullness of characters,the selection and standards of artistic techniques and so on.It is not difficult for us to pry into the differences between the Chinese and the western biopic films.The reasons for these differences are various,including the value orientation of Chinese biographical film;and western biographical film,the concept of human studies and other factors,as well as the differences between the Chinese and the western artistic traditions and film systems.In order to narrow the gap between Chinese biopic films and western biopic films,domestic biographical films should constantly improve their artistic level by changing their creative concept,innovating the concept of human being and enhancing their innovative consciousness.
