由于历史原因,百年前的中国,针灸医术几近湮没无闻。著名针灸学家承淡安先生,登高振臂,引领了我国针灸复兴伟业。他在学术上坚持衷中参西,以针灸疗效为基础,引入现代科学理论与知识,阐释传统针灸理论,推动了现代针灸理论体系的构建;在人才培养方面注重言传身教,努力引导学员以济民兴邦之志共同推动针灸复兴,形成了蔚为壮观的澄江针灸学派。

For historical reasons, acupuncture and moxibustion was almost obliterated a hundred years ago in China.Mr.Cheng Tan'an, a famous acupuncturist, has led the great cause of the revival of acupuncture and moxibustion.Academically, he adhered to the principle of integrated traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine.Based on the curative effect of acupuncture and moxibustion, he introduced modern scientific theory and knowledge, explained traditional acupuncture and moxibustion theory and promoted the construction of modern acupuncture and moxibustion theory system.In the aspect of talent training, he emphasized exemplary teaching, and guided students to help the people and rejuvenate the state so as to jointly promote the renaissanceion of acupuncture and moxibustion.Therefrom, a magnificent Chengjiang Acupuncture and Moxibustion School was formed.
