Full-time counselors and part-time head teachers constitute an important part of the teaching staff in higher vocational colleges, they are in charge of carrying out students' ideological and political education and serve as instructors and guides during students' college life. The paper analyzes full-time counselors' and part-time head teachers' actual work, existing problems, expounds the ways to improve working performance and establish the corresponding interconnected and cooperation mechanism for future work.
