戏剧人类学是一门新兴学科,1979年尤金尼奥·巴尔巴创建戏剧人类学学校,首次为之命名。他的戏剧人类学主要针对表演理论展开。他提出了前表现性原理、表演交易理论,倡导一种第三戏剧(欧亚戏剧)、跨文化戏剧的戏剧观念。自20世纪80年代起,他的戏剧理论与实践迅速引起了世界各国戏剧学家、表演者的关注。梳理巴尔巴戏剧理论与实践研究,不仅对戏剧理论研究具有启发意义,还能为先锋实验戏剧、小剧场戏剧活动等提供有价值的参考。

The theatre anthropology is a new branch of science. In 1979, Eugenio Barba founded a school of theatre anthropology and named it for the first time. His theatre anthropology mainly focuses on performance theory. He has put forward the pre-expressiveness principle and performance trading theory. He has also advocated a theatre concept of the third theatre (Eurasian theatre) and the intercultural theatre. Since the 1980s, his theory and practice of theatre have attracted the attention of dramatists and performers all over the world. The study on the theory and practice of Barba’s theatres will not only enlighten the theoretical study of theatre, but also provide valuable references for pioneer experimental theatre and small theater activities.
