新中国成立70年来,中国共产党领导全国各族人民,不断推进马克思主义中国化、时代化和大众化,进行中国革命、建设和改革开放伟大事业;中国人民当家作主,真正掌握国家、社会和自己命运;中华民族迎来从站起来、富起来到强起来的伟大飞跃,实现从落后于时代到赶上时代、引领时代的伟大跨越。新中国70年的基本历史经验主要是:坚持中国共产党领导,为中国人民谋幸福,为中华民族谋复兴;坚持人民当家作主,一切为了人民,一切依靠人民;坚持走社会主义道路,牢牢把握当代中国发展进步的根本方向和前途命运;立足社会主义初级阶段,不断把我国建设成为富强民主文明和谐美丽的社会主义现代化国家;坚持和深化改革开放,不断解放和发展社会生产力;坚决维护国家主权和领土完整,不断推进祖国和平统一大业;坚持和发展平等团结互助和谐的社会主义民族关系,不断发展民族团结进步事业;坚持全面从严治党,确保党始终成为社会主义现代化建设事业的坚强领导核心。

For 70 years since the establishment of the new China,the Communist Party of China (CPC) has led people of all nationalities to advance the sinocization,modernization and popularization of Marxism constantly,and to carry out the great cause of Chinese revolution,construction and reform and opening up.Therefore,the Chinese people become the master of their own,taking control of the fate of their country,society and themselves.The Chinese nationalities attain the great leap from getting up to getting rich and strong,and from falling behind the time to catching up with the time and now guiding the time.The basic historical experiences of the new China's 70 years are mainly as follow: adhering to the leadership of the CPC,seeking happiness for the Chinese people and rejuvenation for the Chinese nation;adhering to people's mastering position,all for the people and by the people;sticking to the socialist road,grasping firmly the fundamental direction and future destiny of the contemporary China's development;building China based on the primary stage of socialism constantly into a great modern socialist country that is prosperous,strong,democratic,culturally advanced,harmonious,and beautiful;adhering to and deepening constantly the reform and opening up so as to emancipate and develop social productive forces;safeguarding firmly China's sovereignty and territorial integrity,and promoting constantly the great cause of national peaceful reunification;sticking to developing socialist equal,united,cooperating and harmonious relationship among nationalities,and the cause of national unity and progress constantly;adhering to strengthening comprehensively the Party's discipline to ensure the Party as the strong core of leadership for the cause of building socialist modernization.
