The status quo of Chinese luggage industry and the domestic and international situation were analyzed. Through the case study of the smart factory based on the Internet of Things in the Newcomer Group Co. Ltd., it is pointed out that intelligent manufacturing of transformation and upgrading of luggage industry should be adhered to in order to achieve sustainable development. The R&D, design, manufacturing and product quality of the intelligent of luggage industry can be gradually realized by building the technical foundation of the Internet of Things and big data cloud platform, applying advanced simulation software, lean production, product life cycle management, production process transformation, etc, the management foundation of the carrier. As well as the equipment basis for machine sub? stitution, intelligent sorting and equipment automation transformation, thus effectively connect the information flow and the industrial flow.
