With an overview of the capacity status quo, market prospects and production technologies of adiponitile, this paper focuses on the introduction of electrolytic dimerization of acrylonitrile and direct cyanidation of butadiene and comparison of the two routes. Results show that direct cyanidation of butadiene has more advantage. It also briefly introduces the current status of researches on production technologies in China and points out the importance and urgency of domestic production of adiponitrile.
