摘要
民国报刊在近代戏曲的演出与传播中始终扮演着重要角色,其中1922年至1937年以《申报》为主的报纸不仅用跟踪式、连续性的报道记录了程砚秋在上海的演出情况,而且在很大程度上参与、促进了程砚秋的成名以及程派艺术的发展。与此同时,程砚秋善于主动利用《申报》的平台与观众互动,进而根据观众的反馈来思考、调整创作思路和表演方式。通过“孤岛时期”之前《申报》等报刊媒体与程砚秋艺术实践的互动关系,既可还原戏曲艺术传承者在近代媒体环境、文化风潮中努力拓宽传播渠道的多种尝试,也可一窥程砚秋的戏曲理想与文化关怀。
The press in the Republic of China played an important role in giving publicity to Chinese. Shun Pao made a series of reports on Cheng Yanqiu's performances in Shanghai during 1922 to 1937, which boosted Cheng's publicity and art. Meanwhile, Cheng took advantage of the newspaper, communicated with the audience, and improved his performances accordingly. A study into the relationship between the press and Cheng could reveal the artists' efforts to modernize the art as well as his artistic and humanistic ideal.
