By calculating the permissible current of a single wire in the daily standard JASO 609 with an example,this paper clarifies the origin of the calculation of the permissible current value in the daily standard wire specification,and explains the influence of six factors,such as conductor outer diameter and insulation outer diameter,on the carrying current of the daily standard wire.
