文化地图制图技术框架——以京味儿文化地图为例

A Technical Framework of Cultural Map Design-Take Beijing Cultural Map for Example

文化地图是近年来地图制图领域出现的一个新的地图形式,它是地图制图、文化、艺术、设计的交叉学科的产物,它以表达文化现象、内涵及人文感受为设计目的,突破了空间尺度、位置精度、取舍标准等传统地图制图的框架,相关技术研究尚处于探索阶段。本文尝试建立文化地图制图的技术框架,将确定文化主题、提炼城市意向、遴选主题元素、人文故事嵌入等文化地图制图所需的环节融入地图制图一般过程,从计划准备、地图设计和图面编绘三个方面进行系统阐述。以京味儿文化地图制图为例,分别从宏观和微观两种尺度,选择南锣鼓巷和京西古道两个案例进行了文化地图的制图实践,为深化地图的文化内涵,丰富地图成果的表达,做了有益的尝试。

Cultural map is a new emergency in the field of cartography recently. Different from traditional map,cultural map is an interdisciplinary subject of mapping,culture,art and design.The objective of the mapping of cultural map is the representation of cultural phenomenon,meaning and experience,some traditional cartography frameworks such as spatial scale,location accuracy and cartographic generalization. The research on cultural map design is in its beginning stage.This paper try to build a technical framework on cultural map design,integrating the cultural map design processes such as extracting urban image,selecting theme elements,imbedding cultural stories into the general cartography process,and introduces the framework by map plan,design and compilation. We take Beijing style cultural map as example,choose South Luogu lane for local scale and west historical cultural roads for regional scale,to show the application of technical framework of cultural map design. We hope the research could enrich the cultural meaning and expression of map.
