Review and Prospect of Population Location Selection Research:Based on the Perspective of New Spatial Economics

党的十九大报告明确指出要加强人口发展战略研究。随着我国人口发展形势的变化,科学把握人口迁移流动规律是摆在我们面前的重大课题。首先系统梳理回顾了人口空间区位选择理论机制,并从城乡结构转换、产业转移升级、城市规模、不可贸易品选择和迁移流动摩擦等方面综述了人口区位选择理论的应用研究,最后对可能的研究方向进行了展望。研究结论将有助于科学揭示人口迁移流动背后的逻辑机制,为新时代我国人口发展战略提供有益参考。

The nineteenth report of CPC clearly points out that the study on population development strategy should be strengthened. With the change of China’s population development situation,it is an important task for us to grasp the law of population migration scientifically. The theory of population location choice can help to reveal the logical mechanism of population migration and mobility,and provide useful references for China’s population development strategy in the new era. This paper systematically reviewed the mechanisms of the population spatial location choice and the applications of these mechanisms included the aspects of urban and rural structural transformation,industrial transformation and upgrading,urban scale,non-tradable goods selection and migration friction. Finally,the future researches were prospected.
