Narrative medicine opens up new ideas for life writing, and death narrative is expected to enrich the image of spiritual space. Therefore, we need to give up traditional religious narratives. With the interpretation of the death narrative in Chinese and foreign magical realism literature, from Marquez's One Hundred Years of Solitude to the contemporary Chinese writers Mo Yan, Jia Pingwa, Han Shaogong, Yu Hua, and Zhaxi Dawa's magical realism creative practice, and cross-border writing by medical and literary writers, we can open up a new space for spiritual cognition, use new tools for spiritual comfort, set up a new context for spiritual care, and provide more poetic and feathering journeys for clinical death.
