This paper analyses the cultural self-confidence in the new era from three dimensions,holding the view that the excellent traditional culture formed by the long history of Chinese nation is the historical root of the cultural self-confidence in the new era,that the revolutionary culture created in the revolutionary practice led by the Chinese Communist Party is the important nutrition of the cultural self-confidence in the new era and that the advanced socialist culture rooted in the great socialist practice with the Chinese characteristics is the reality of the cultural self-confidence in the new era.
