王埜·姚镛·戴复古——对《中国文学家大辞典》三则辞目的几点辨正

Wang Ye, Yao Yong and Dai Fugu: A Challenge to Three Entries in The Dictionary of Chinese Literati

曾枣庄主编、中华书局出版的《中国文学家大辞典·宋代卷》中,“王埜”“姚镛”“戴复古”三则辞目对传主的介绍各有失实之处,举其要者,即有:戴复古诗中的“东谷王子文”并非“王埜”,而是戴氏同乡诗友王汶(字希道,一字子文,号东谷,又号蒙斋);南宋景定五年(1264)掌教黄岩县学的并非剡溪姚镛,而是合沙人姚镕;戴复古布衣终生,所谓“曾任邵武军学教授”,乃明代福建方志误载,实无其事;戴氏结束江湖漫游由其子琦自镇江侍接返乡,是嘉熙元年(1237)冬,时年七十一,而非“年近八十”。

In The Dictionary of Chinese Literati: Song Dynasty, which is edited by Zeng Zaozhuang and published by the Zhonghua Book Company, problems are found with the entries of Wang Ye, Yao Yong and Dai Fugu. The major mistakes include:“Donggu Wang Ziwen” in Dai Fugu’s poem refers not to Wang Ye, but to Wang Wen (courtesy name being Xidao, pseudonym being Ziwen, and alias being Mengzhai), who was a town fellow of Dai;It is Yao Rong, rather than Yao Yong that was appointed the head of the Huangyan County Academy in the Jingding 5th year (1264) of the Southern Song Dynasty;Dai Fugu did not stepped in any official position during his lifetime, including “the Professor of the Shaowu Military Academy”-a mistake first made in the Ming-Dynasty local gazetteers;After traveling for many years, Dai Fugu returned to his hometown from Zhenjiang with his son who came to accompany him back when Dai was 71 years old, rather than nearly 80.
