Japanese Publishing Industry’s Innovative Practices Driven by Artificial Intelligence

摘要 近年来,人工智能第三次浪潮在全球兴起,日本出版业做出快速反应:出版社、批发商、印刷公司、书店不约而同引入人工智能技术,或以行为数据和推荐算法为基础重新审视旧经验传统,进行观念革新;或开发人工智能写作工具,推动内容生产革命;或通过数据分析实现与客户深度合作,合力打造智慧供应链;或借力人机互动,提供个性化魅力服务。这些创新实践都取得了显著成效,但也可以看出,人工智能与出版业的融合不可能一蹴而就,需要出版人坚持不懈的努力。 In recent years, the third wave of artificial intelligence has emerged around the world, and the Japanese publishing industry has responded quickly. Publishers, wholesalers, printing companies and bookstores have introduced artificial intelligence technology to re-examine old experience and traditions by means of behavioral data and recommendation algorithm, to promote the upgrades of content production by artificial intelligence writing tools;to achieve deep cooperation with customers through data analysis and work together;to create a smart supply chain as well as to create new charm points by human-computer interaction practice. These innovative attempts have yielded significant results, but it can also be seen that the integration of artificial intelligence and publishing practices cannot be achieved overnight, requiring determination and relentless and unremitting efforts.
