The era of "big geology", which is spawned by the construction of ecological civilization, not only changes the monotony of geological industry, but also widens the domain and interdisciplinary nature of geological work."Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology", as an elective course of geological specialty, has its own characteristics in teaching contents and methods. Based on its characteristics, this paper discusses the reform of training objectives and teaching contents in this course.
