This paper introduces the process flow of unit 17 of Shell coal gasification plant in Tongmei Guangfa Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. and the situation and harm of system pressure overpressure during the preliminary water treatment of unit 17 in the production process , and puts forward the improvement method. Finally, through the improvement, the pressure of 17 unit system is reduced, the dynamic equipment and static equipment are effectively protected, and the production is safer and more environmentally friendly.
