The paper carries out summary,classification and analysis of major fireproof protecting methods for steel structure at present,makes a discussion and comparison from aspects of fireproof effect,utilizing conditions,cost and comprehensive benefits,and finally shows some suggestions for fireproof protecting methods in engineering.
