Objective To investigate the effects of telephone follow-up combined with integrated nursing on the compliance and quality of life of patients with coronary heart disease(CHD) after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods Fifty-four elderly patients with CHD who underwent PCI in Jiaozhou People’s Hospital from April 2016 to December 2016 were enrolled in control group, and 54 patients with CHD who underwent PCI in Jiaozhou People’s Hospital from January 2017 to August 2017 were enrolled in combined group. Patients in control group received routine nursing, and patients in combined group received telephone follow-up and integrated nursing on the basis of control group. The out-of-hospital compliance and Seattle Angina Questionnaire(SAQ) scores were compared between the two groups. Results The out-of-hospital compliance rates of control group and observation group were 79.63%(43/54) and 96.30%(52/54), respectively. The out-of-hospital compliance rate of combined group was higher than that of control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). After nursing, the scores of the SAQ in combined group were all higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Telephone follow-up combined with integrated nursing could effectively improve the out-of-hospital compliance and quality of life of elderly patients with CHD after PCI.
