摘要
中世纪民谣作为早期跨媒介艺术形式,在罗马教堂被传唱,神圣的“教堂”与世俗的“民谣”初步实现交融。从物质媒介到数字媒介,从早期具有宗教传统的跨媒介艺术到当下数字化时代的新媒体艺术,媒介理论也在不断向前发展,艺术以不同形态呈现于不同媒介,从实存的可观、可感的宗教艺术歌舞到当下的虚拟艺术,它具有跨越性和综合性,跨媒介艺术即是艺术本身跨媒介特性的鲜明体现。作为“人体延伸”的教堂成为神圣与世俗相交织的空间场域,融合不同媒介、形式及讯息,搭建着人类世界与天堂、上帝之间的沟通桥梁。文章追溯“媒介”与“跨媒介艺术”的古老渊源和最初表现形式,把握“跨媒介艺术”的历史性和时代性,以期对媒介理论与早期跨媒介艺术的关系有深入理解。
As an early cross-media art form,the medieval ballad was sung in the Church of Rome,and the sacred “church” was preliminarily blended with the secular “Ballad”. The media theory is developing continuously from the material media to the digital medium,from the early religious tradition to the new media art in the present digital era. Art is presented in different forms in different media. From the substantial and sensible religious art to the present virtual art,it has leaps and bounds, as well as comprehensiveness. The cross-media art is the distinct embodiment of the cross-media characteristics of art itself. As the extension of the human body,the church has become a space that intersects the sacred and the secular,and also integrated different media, forms and messages to build a bridge of communication between the human world and the heaven or the God. This paper traces the ancient origin and the original form of the “media” and the “cross-media art” based on the historical and epochal nature of the “cross -media art” hoping to discover the relationships between the media theory and the early cross -media art.
