学术著作出版基金是缓解学术出版经济压力、传播优秀学术成果、扩大学者和研究机构社会影响力的重要手段。美国学术著作出版基金主要来源于政府机构、私人基金会等外部机构及各高校和科研机构的自筹资金。本文通过调研上述三类机构的学术著作出版资助实践,分析美国学术著作出版资助的特点,提出从强化学术传承和传播职责、适应数字出版和开放获取的学术著作出版新形势和探索面向学术著作出版全流程的资助方式三个层面改善我国学术著作出版资助制度,促进我国学术著作出版的发展与繁荣。

Academic book publishing fund is an important means to relieve the economic pressure of academic publisher, disseminate excellent academic achievements, and expand the social influence of scholars and research institutions. Academic book publishing funds in the United States mainly come from government agencies, private foundations, other external organizations, universities and research institutions. This paper analyzes the characteristics of academic book publishing funds in the US by investigating the funding practices of the above-mentioned three type institutions, and suggests that academic book publishing fund in China should be improved from three aspects, including strengthening responsibilities of academic inheritance and dissemination, adapting to the new academic publishing situation of digital publishing and open access and exploring funding methods through the whole process of academic publishing so as to promote the development and prosperity of academic publishing in China.
