The current situation of intelligent manufacturing technology in foundry industry and the standard system of intelligent manufacturing at home were introduced. The demand of foundry industry for intelligent manufacturing technology and the development trend of corresponding standardization were discussed, which may give a reference to promotion of intelligent manufacturing technology in foundry industry, and make it possible “to follow the standards and to follow the standards first” in developing the intelligent manufacturing technology.
