美国当代作家乔伊斯·卡罗尔·欧茨的创作成就斐然,体裁多样化。最近她在近耄耋之年出版了成长回忆录《逝去的风景》。这部袒露心扉的作品不但记载了她的成长经历和刻骨铭心的记忆,还展露出她对一些问题的思考。欧茨写作中许多令人困惑的问题也因此迎刃而解。本文聚焦回忆录的写作手法和内容,揭示欧茨的成长、记忆及其对一些问题的思考,并对其部分创作思想追根溯源。

Joyce Carol Oates, the contemporary American writer, has achieved a lot in her writings and her forms of writing are varied. Recently she published The Lost Landscape, her growing memoir, when she was almost 80 years old. In the book, she discloses her inner world. Besides writing about her growing experiences and impressive memories, she also illustrates her consideration about some problems. Hence, some of readers confusion about her writings can be solved.
