跨文化视域下英美文学翻译的策略

On Strategies of Translating British and American Literature from a Cross-Cultural Perspective

文化差异是中西方文化交流存在的一项主要障碍。跨文化交流时,文学作品的文化交流是一个有效途径,翻译在文化交流中发挥重要的桥梁作用。以英美文学为例,基于跨文化视角,分析英美文学作品翻译中的障碍因素、翻译工作开展原则,以及翻译策略,发挥翻译在文学作品沟通以及文化交流中的桥梁作用,实现中西方文化交流的通达。

Cultural difference is a major obstacle to the cultural exchange between China and the west. Cultural communication by literary works is an effective way in cross-cultural communication in which translation plays the important role as a bridge. This paper, taking British and American literature as an example, analyzes, based on the cross-cultural perspective, the obstacles, principles and strategies in the translation of British and American literature. The strategies aims to play the bridge role of translation in the communication of literary works and cultural exchanges, and to realize the communication between Chinese and western cultures.
