墨子的节用思想渗透在我们生活中的方方面面,其中就涉及到艺术设计领域中的环境艺术设计这一方面。墨子提出的节用思想与现代设计中的功能主义思想基本相似,比如在室内设计中会尽量避免多曲折多装饰的手法,达到以追求实用为主、功能至上的设计。本文将墨子的节用思想和西方功能主义的共同之处进行总结提炼,分别以中西方的空间为例阐述在室内空间中怎样实现实用且更符合大众需要的现代设计,揭示节用思想对室内设计的影响,以展示出符合时代需求的功能主义设计。

Mo-tse’s economical ideology permeates all aspects of our life,including environmental art design in the field of art design.Mo-tse's idea of economical ideology is similar to functionalism in modern design.For example,in interior design,we try to avoid much complexity and adornment,so as to achieve a design that is practical and function-oriented.This paper summarizes and refines the similarities between Mo-tse’s economical ideology and Western functionalism.Taking Chinese and Western space as an example,it elaborates how to realize modern design in interior space which is practical and more in line with the needs of the public,reveals the influence of economixal ideology on interior design,and demonstrates functional design that meets the needs.
