Clinical pharmacists participated in the treatment of a patient with hypothyroidism and severe esophageal stenosis, and solved drug-related problems by monitoring possible adverse drug reactions and timely intervened the medication scheme. Through referring to the disease history of the patient, the characteristics of drug actions and clinical efficacy, pharmacists helped doctors to adjust the treatment plan. The patient was discharged with satisfactory therapeutic effect. In the treatment of this patient, clinical pharmacists play an important role in providing individualized drug treatment advice, ensuring the safety and effectiveness of patient medication.
