Development status and trend of fall-prevention garments for the elderly

为了解老年人摔倒防护服装的发展现状,以当前可穿戴监测防护设备及吸能缓冲材料在摔倒防护服装领域的应用为重点,阐述了老年人摔倒后可能产生的损伤,总结了国内外老年人摔倒防护服装的主要研究成果,具体分析了可穿戴设备及缓冲材料在其应用上的优缺点。指出开发老年摔倒防护服装的注意事项,并得出摔倒防护服装的研发趋势,及以人为本且集“防”“护”于一体的理念,为老年人摔倒防护服装的开发提供了指导性建议。

In order to understand the development status of the fall-prevention garments for the elderly and provide a reference of the development. The applications of the current wearable monitor equipment and energy-absorbing cushioning materials in the field of fall-prevention clothing were introduced, and the possible damages when the elderly fell were discussed. The main research results of fall-prevention clothing for the elderly at home and abroad were summarized, and the advantages and disadvantages of wearable devices and cushioning materials were analyzed. Furthermore, the development trend of fall-prevention clothing for the elderly which contains people-oriented and integrates "defense"-"protection" were discussed. This paper provided some guiding suggestions for the further development of fall-prevention clothing for the elderly.
