The spirit of the May Fourth Movement is a patriotic spirit of patriotism, progress, democracy, and science. Young people in the new era are not only the hope of the country and the future of the nation, but also the main force for realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and the sustainable force for promoting global governance. Carrying forward the patriotism consciousness in the spirit of the May Fourth Movement will raise the youth's attention to the connotation of patriotism, help the youth to vividly understand patriotism which will be inspired and moved, truly agree with patriotism and take it as the spiritual role model to practice patriotism.
