The recent progress in the extraction,separation and purification of Astragalus polysaccharides and its application are reviewed.The advantages and disadvantages of different extraction,separation and purification processes were compared and analyzed.The application of Astragalus polysaccharides in medical,aquaculture and food was introduced.The problems in the development of Astragalus polysaccharides were pointed out,and the future development was discussed and prospected.
