Research on the Market Effect of Airport Economy in Promoting Regional Economic Development

研究临空经济促进区域经济发展的市场效应对探索区域发展新模式、实现区域协调和高质量发展有重要意义。发展临空经济能扩大区域市场规模,进而推动"中心-外围"结构的形成及区域间良性互动,提高区域劳动生产效率,促进区域发展。基于空间经济理论构建市场引力模型,利用中国35个主要空港城市数据进行的实证分析发现:临空经济促进区域发展的市场效应确实存在,主要通过影响经济距离、产业结构、人口、经济规模等对区域间市场规模和引力产生作用;临空经济市场效应具有一定的距离适应性,市场偏远及交通不便区域效应愈加明显;民航市场化改革能强化临空经济市场效应发挥。故中国应加大以航空运输为主导的综合交通体系建设,强化偏远区域航空业发展支持力度,不断消除区域间制度性市场分割,进一步深化民航市场化改革。

Studying the market effect of airport economy in promoting regional development is of great significance for exploring new models of regional development,realizing regional coordination and high-quality development. To develop airport economy can promote regional development by enlarging the scale of regional market which promotes the formation of "center-periphery"structure and the benign interaction between regions as same as improves the efficiency of regional labor production.Based on the theory of spatial economy,this paper constructs a model of market gravity and makes an empirical analysis using data from 35 major airport cities in China. The conclusions are as follows: the market effect of airport economy on regional development does exist,mainly through influencing economic distance,industrial structure,population,economic scale and so on;it has a certain distance adaptability,and the effect of remote market and inconvenient traffic area is more obvious;the market-oriented reform of civil aviation can strengthen the market effect of airport economy. Therefore,China should strengthen the construction of integrated transportation system with air transportation as the leading factor,increase the support for the development of aviation industry in remote areas,eliminate the institutional market segmentation among regions,and further deepen the market-oriented reform of civil aviation.
