The glorious history of field epidemiology in China

现场流行病学是应用流行病学方法和其他方法,调查解决现场实际发生的各种公共卫生问题的方法学。老一辈流行病学专家们为我们树立了深入现场调查解决重大公共卫生问题的榜样。2001年10月,我国建立了现场流行病学培训项目(CFETP),在2003年迎战SARS中发挥了流行病学先锋的作用。经过18年来的不断发展,很多毕业生成为国家和地方疾病预防控制中心的领军人物和业务骨干。可以预期,CFETP将为实现"健康中国2030"的宏伟目标以及国家"一带一路"开放战略的保驾护航做出更大贡献。

Field epidemiology is to investigate and solve various public health problems of concern with the application of epidemiological and other methods. Honorable predecessors have set an example for us to conduct in-depth investigations to solve major public health problems. In October 2001, China established its Field Epidemiology Training Program (CFETP), which played a leading role against SARS in field epidemiology in 2003. After 18 years of development, many graduates have become leaders and professionals in national and local disease prevention and control centers. It can be expected that CFETP will make greater contributions to the realization of the "Healthy China 2030" ambitious goal and the escort of the country’s "Belt and Road Initiative" open strategy.
