宁波地名考三则

Three Place Names in Ningbo

宁波地名用字独具特色,这些特殊的地名用字以专用的字形、特定的含义,成为语言、地理、历史等多侧面的综合体,承载着地域文化,凝聚着乡土情感。本文选取了“堠”“嘾”“隤”这三个具有代表性的地名用字,在前贤时彦研究的基础上,从字音、字形、字义等多角度作进一步的研究。

The place names in Ningbo evince unique features characterized by special forms and meanings which condense language,geography and history and are imbued with regional cultural implications and sentiments.This paper,selecting three representative place names,i.e.,"hou","tan"and"dui",makes further research from the perspectives a detailed study in the light of their pronunciation,form and meaning based on previous studies.
