摘要严媛媛老师开设的旨在发展学生思维品质的小说阅读课Gulliver in Lilliput在研读教学文本、设计教学主线、安排教学活动和设置课堂提问等方面表现出了较高水平的专业素质.本课以小说的文体特征为抓手,促进学生的深度阅读,达到了发展学生思维品质的目的.指向学生高阶思维发展的英语阅读课堂教学,需要关注教学主体,关注学习过程,关注问题设置.
