浅谈高职高专公共英语课程改革——以皖西卫生职业学院为例

The Reform of Public English Course in Higher Vocational Colleges: Taking West Anhui Health Vocational College as an Example

当前,知识经济的兴起和信息化社会的发展对全国的教育体系提出了更高的要求,作为课程改革其中一个环节的大学英语课改更是如火如荼,不过在体制内大都以普通高校为改革对象。可如今,国家正大力发展职业教育,我国高等职业教育蓬勃发展,高职高专院校在全国已经占有很大比重,由于其生源、学习任务、学习目标和学习环境的不同,对于这一特殊的大学生群体,在英语课程改革方面必然与普通高校有着不同的特质。因此,为了实现“培养学生的英语综合应用能力,特别是职场环境下运用英语的基本能力”这一目标,提高学生的英语学习兴趣和自主学习能力,加强学生的综合文化素养和跨文化交际意识,提升他们的就业竞争力和可持续发展,成了我们目前不断探索的重要课题。

At present, the rise of knowledge-based economy and the development of information society have put forward higher requirements for the national education system. As one of the links of curriculum reform, college English curriculum reform is in full swing, but in this system, most colleges and universities are the object of reform. Nowadays, the country is vigorously developing vocational education, higher vocational education in China is developing greatly, and higher vocational colleges and universities have occupied a large proportion in our country. Due to the differences in students' origin, learning tasks, learning objectives and learning environment, the English curriculum reform of this special group of college students is bound to have different characteristics from that of ordinary colleges and universities. Therefore, in order to achieve the goal of "cultivating students' comprehensive ability to use English, especially the basic ability to use English in the workplace environment", improving students' interest in English learning and autonomous learning ability, strengthening students' comprehensive cultural literacy and cross-cultural communication awareness, enhancing their employment competitiveness and sustainable development, has become an important lesson that we are constantly exploring at present.
