Virginia Woolf’s feminist ideas revised the traditional masculinized theory and confirmed the value of women themselves and brought feminist literary theory in shape. A Room of One’s Own is the concentrated reflection of her feminist ideas .This article tries to analyze the meaning of “a room one’s own” and “five hundred pounds a year” from the perspective of material and spiritual space.
