Explore the Development Path of China’s Youth in the Context of Time and Society——A Review About Lian Si Research Team’s Studies on Youth

十余年来,廉思课题组用"脚底板做学问",聚焦当代中国青年群体,形成了一系列创见性的学术成果,其中以"蚁族"及流动青年群体研究,"工蜂"及青年知识分子研究,新兴青年群体及新的社会阶层研究,"左翼"思想及青年社会运动研究,党建及青年意识形态研究等五个方面最为突出。廉思课题组的研究成果,在学术价值和社会价值两个维度上为当代青年研究的理论建构提供了丰富的现实资源及鲜活的历史记录,对推动中国社会科学本土化,创新社会科学研究范式,巩固党的青年群众基础,做出了积极有益的探索。

Over the past decades, Lian Si research team have made a series of insightful academic achievements by means of "sticking to the fact " and focusing on contemporary youth groups. Of these researches, the most well-known ones are "Ant Tribe" and migrant youth groups,"Workers" and young intellectuals, emerging youth groups and new social class,"Left Wing" thought and youth social movement, and party building and youth ideology. In terms of academic and social value, the team’s research has kept many precious historical records for the construction of contemporary youth theory, which may benefit the localization of social science, renew the research paradigm of social science, and strengthen the relation between the CPC and China’s youth.
