摘要
基于认知语言学关于语篇连贯的“认知世界”理论,结合系统功能语言学的语篇衔接与连贯的理论,研究了《高级英语》中的语篇“The Future of the English”中各个段落的认知连贯。认为“认知世界”可以包括由衔接手段提供的一个可见的、形式化的宏观认知世界和由逻辑和背景知识提供的一个看不见的、但能感知的微观语义世界,补充了关于“认知世界”的语篇连贯理论,同时为《高级英语》的语篇连贯教学提供了一种教学认知路径。
While introducing the theory of " cognitive world" discourse coherence in Cognitive Linguistics and the theory of discourse cohesion and coherence in Systemic Functional Linguistics,this paper aims to explore the discourse cognitive coherence in terms of paragraphs of the article "The Future of the English" in the textbook of Advanced English. This research discovers that "Cognitive World" includes a visible,formalized macro world provided by cohesive devices and an invisible,but perceptible,micro semantic world provided by logic and background knowledge,which complements the discourse coherence theory of Cognitive World put forward by professor Wang Yin. At the same time,it provides a teaching and learning cognitive path for the analysis of discourse coherence in the texts of Advanced English.
