灵验故事与民间信仰关系密切。灵验故事包括经典的神圣故事和增生性故事。不断增生的灵验故事可激活神明的神性,是民间信仰持续发展的根本原因。灵验故事有惩罚型、显灵型、护佑型等不同形式,其产生的恐惧、规范和感恩等效应,建构与维系了民众日常生活所需要的信仰。

Spiritual stories,closely related with folk beliefs,include classical divine stories and proliferate stories.Constantly multiplying spiritual stories can activate the divinity of gods,which is the fundamental reason for the sustainable development of folk beliefs.The fear,constraint and gratitude resulting from different forms of spiritual stories,such as punishment,manifestation and protection have constructed and maintained the beliefs people need in daily life.
